Bathing Beauties

Teagan and her cousin Rose went swimming at Nanny and Pop's pool today. Both girls loved the water!

Memorial Day

We went to the Memorial Day Parade in Delmar today. Mommy forgot to bring a sun hat for Teagan so we decided to cover her head with a burp cloth and secure it with her white headband. We thought she looked like a little sheikh!

Sleeping in the crib

Teagan has graduated from both the bassinet and the Moses basket and is now sleeping in her crib. The mattress is still at an incline to help with her reflux. We tend to find she's moved herself to the bottom of the crib by morning. She actually seems to enjoy the new surroundings. After waking up from her nap today, Mommy came into the room to find her babbling away to the baby faces that are taped to the inside of the crib.

4 Months Old

For her four month birthday, Teagan tried cereal mixed with a tiny bit of applesauce.

She was quite messy at the end.

Travis also enjoyed his breakfast of left-over pizza and chinese food!

Which is more gross---Teagan's messy face or Travis's breakfast!

Visit to Rhode Island

Teagan had a wonderful day playing with her cousin Rose at her house in Rhode Island. Rose is one year older than Teagan and is so nice to her. She gave her lots of kisses and hugs.

Teagan let the dogs on the bed!

When Daddy went off to work, Teagan let the dogs join her on the bed. She knows they're not allowed there!

Happy Mother's Day

It was a wonderful first Mother's Day for Mommy. Teagan made a plaster inprint of her foot and hand and had it framed along with a picture of her for Mommy. Daddy gave Mommy a new watch and took care of Teagan all day. Later in the afternoon, Nanny and Pop and the Barretts came over for a cookout. Such a nice and relaxing Mother's Day.

Teagan helped Daddy mow the lawn this weekend. She loved looking around!

Busy Bee

Teagan was a busy bee in the garden today. Dressed in the adorable Anne Geddes Bumble Bee outfit from Uncle Mike and Aunt Genevieve, Teagan took some time to stop and smell the roses.

Daddy's Birthday

The family came over for cake and ice cream to celebrate Daddy's birthday. Teagan especially loved when Pop was singing to her!

Rolling Over

To celebrate Daddy's birthday, Teagan wore her I LOVE DADDY onsie and decided to perform her first trick---rolling over! Such a big event, that Mommy just had to take a bunch of pictures.

Teagan's new toy

Mommy unpacked and set up the Sit-N-Step for Teagan yesterday. She absolutely LOVED it! She especially liked the smiling faces on the toys and her reflection in the mirror. Thanks to all the neighborhood ladies for this great shower gift!

No more swing!

Last Monday night, we re-visited the idea of having Teagan sleep in the bassinet. Up until now, the only place she would sleep was in the swing. We elevated the mattress and padded the sides so she wouldn't roll into a crack. TA-DA! It worked. She's been sleeping in the bassinet each night and is beginning to take naps during the day. (Of course that's with the help of the Mr. Hoover--the vac--running). I tried to sneak a sleeping picture of her, but she's a light sleeper.

Faolain's Junior Prom

Teagan got all dressed up for Faolain's prom, hoping that perhaps Faolain would invite her along. Just like her Mommy did over 20 years ago for Aunt Maura's prom.

Beautiful Day

Teagan sat outside and watched her daddy do work on the yard. It's the first really nice day out, so she wore her sun hat.

Blue and Orange--and Brady

Teagan loves her little blue and orange "friends". She talks to them as she sits in her bouncy seat. Brady loves to sit next to her.

Lazy Sunday Afternoon

Teagan read the paper with Daddy and then crashed for a long nap on his chest.

Bumbo Chair

Thanks to the advice of Teagan's friend Molly, we went out today and bought Teagan her first "chair" to sit in. She is able to sit up and look about and she just loves it!
